Everything You Want to Know About Brazilian Butt Lift

Brazilian Butt Lift

One of the most popular procedures among Dr. Alexander Simopoulos’s patients is Brazilian Butt Augmentation, more commonly known as Brazilian Butt Lift. Dr. Simopoulos has been successfully performing this procedure for years with excellent results in his Los Angeles offices.

What is Brazilian Butt Lift?

Brazilian Butt Lift is a procedure that increases firmness and roundness, and improves the contours of the buttocks. During the procedure, Dr. Simopoulos transfers unwanted fat from other parts of the body (such as the hips, thighs, abdomen, or arms) to the buttocks to give them a full, rounded, and lifted look.

Is Brazilian Butt Augmentation right for me?

Dr. Simopoulos’s patients love the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure because it brings balance to their bodies and gives them a greater sense of self-confidence.

If you are unhappy with the current shape, size, or firmness of your buttocks, you may be an excellent candidate for the Brazilian Butt Lift.

To qualify, you’ll need to:
  • be physically healthy
  • have firm, elastic skin
  • set realistic and achievable goals for yourself

How does the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure work?

The Brazilian Butt Lift is typically an outpatient procedure. It can last from 90 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the scope of the procedure. To begin the procedure, an anesthetic solution called tumescent fluid is injected into the body to numb the area, control bleeding, and more easily remove unwanted fat. The collected fat is then washed in a double antibiotic solution. The fat is then injected into the buttocks to create a full and lifted Brazilian butt look.

How long does it take to recover?
Everybody heals differently, so it’s important to plan for plenty of rest and recovery time. Soreness, swelling, and bruising is normal, and pain relievers may be used to ease recovery.

Patients are typically up and walking within a day of the procedure, but it’s important to stay off of the buttocks for the first two weeks of recovery, as the tissue needs time to heal and revascularize.

How do I get started?

To learn more about Brazilian Butt Augmentation, you can begin by setting up a initial consultation with the doctor. Dr. Simopoulos will explain how the procedure works, answer your questions, and explain what you will need to do to prepare.
